GGBH Facilities (including the Wohl Hall)
The shul has a number of amenities available for use. There is a wonderful Beis
HaMedrash full of seforim for reference and a library with many books in English.
The shul also has the Wohl Hall which has been recently redecorated and refurnished
to a high standard with air-conditioning. The hall is available for hire for simchas
and other events. For further information please contact the shul office.
The GGBH Hospitality Committee is extremely active always seeking to arrange meals
for locals and visitors alike. If you are visiting our community and would like
Shabbos/Yom Tov meals with suitable families arranged please complete the Hospitality
We would bring to your attention that the Golders Green Beth HaMedrash does not subscribe
to the North West London Community Eiruv and that members do not use the eiruv. It
would be appreciated if visitors to the shul could respect this.
The shul runs two e-mail distribution lists. For more information, and to sign up,
please click here.
The lists are fully moderated and only people who have subscribed to the relevant
list can post to those list and then only from the e-mail address or addresses they
have subscribed. Postings from non-subscribed e-mail addresses will be automatically
Whilst the shul does have its own Mikvah this is no longer in daily use and is available
only before the chagim for men. Normally an e-mail is sent on the News-line advertising
the fact that the mikvah is available.
For ladies there are a number of Mikvaos in the North-West London area and in Greater
London generally. See here for a list of mikvaos within London.
The North West London Communal Mikvah is a very modern mikvah and is located in Golders
Green Crescent. It is open daily. On Friday night and Yom Tov an appointment should
be made. Please call (UK) 020 8731 9494 or (during the day) 020 8457 5900.
In Hendon the North West London Mikvah located on Shirehall Lane is now only open
on Friday night and Yom Tov night and an appointment is required. Please call (UK)
